My name is Monet! I’m a solo adventurer with over a decade of experience in the adventure travel world. In 2026, I became the first American woman to ski solo & unsupported to the South Pole. These trips are a lot more fun than that though :)
You can find me online here.

Nope. These aren’t endurance expeditions. That said, many trips include walking, hiking, uneven terrain, or long days out and about. You should be comfortable being active for several hours at a time and willing to embrace a little discomfort now and then (that’s where the good stories come from).
Each trip has specific physical expectations, which we’ll always be upfront about.

Small. Very small.
Typically 6 people, depending on the trip. This keeps things flexible, personal, and way more fun.

It varies by trip, but generally:
Accommodations
Group activities and experiences
Local guides
Some meals (often the best ones 😉)
What’s not usually included:
Flights to/from the destination
Travel insurance (required)
Some meals and personal expenses
Each trip page has a very clear “What’s Included / What’s Not” section.

Yes — required, no exceptions.
Stuff happens: delayed flights, twisted ankles, lost bags. Travel insurance protects you and keeps the group running smoothly if plans need to change.
I’m happy to recommend providers.

Not at all. In fact, most people come solo.
You’ll have your own space when you want it and instant travel buddies when you don’t. By day two, it usually feels like we’re a group of friends who got together for a rad adventure.

Warm, curious, supportive, and low-ego.
People who are:
Down to try new things
Respectful of local culture
Flexible when plans shift
Not afraid of a little dirt, laughter, or deep conversation
If you’re looking for luxury-for-the-sake-of-luxury or nonstop partying, these trips probably aren’t your thing — and that’s okay.
